Re: So who is staying home today?
I finally received word that my office is closed, and to top it all off...we may even have a late opening tomorrow!
DH's company had an announcement on their website...I shut off the alarm and he is still sleeping.

Re: So who is staying home today?
Nope
i'd feel really stupid staying home for a measly 5" of snow - its nice and sunny here now! LIRR is operating just fine (with a few rush hour trains cancelled) so i really have no excuse
i just don't understand how south nassau got so little snow when we were supposed to get at least 10-14" here.
this storm must have moved much much quicker than they originally thought!

Re: So who is staying home today?
DH was trying to convince me to go in once he shovelled out because it really doesn't seem that bad by us.
I was like "I can do whatever work I need to do at home anyways. I am not going to drive to the office to do the same thing".
to those of you who have to go in today.

Re: So who is staying home today?
I was at work by 7 this morning. I'm psycho like that. It took me longer to get to my car and clean it off than it did to get to work lol
The roads were fine this morning. Covered in snow yes, but nothing compared to last time.

Re: So who is staying home today?
I am. But I went outside to shovel and in a half hour had my stoop, walkway and one car dug out. The road on my block looks pretty well plowed.
