How often do you buy sheets?
do you replace yours every year, every few years? just curious.

About every 6 months...and now with the new bed, about every 2 weeks!  We "splurged" and got Egyptian cotton sheets...oh my, nothing beats sleeping on those!!

I haven't bought a new set of sheets in years! probably because I have so many sets... and since they're pretty high quality, they're really lasting a long time!

I too got so many from our shower last year but I love new and fresh sheets and I have to buy new ones and 800+ count. I have so many too but I cant stop buying them

when Fieldcrest went out of business, I went to Century 21 with my Mom and we bought everything Royal Velvet & Charisma that we could get our hands on  I have so many sets I don't use the same ones for a looong time.
but for some ODD reason, I have the urge to buy new sheets!

I thought the thread count crap was all hype...but OMG we sleep like babies on our sheets!! We even have Egyptian cotton on the guests beds (but like 350 count)...we're hooked!!

I dont get the Hype about Egyptian cotton... is it thicker, softer, silkier? I have 600 thread count sateen sheets i am in LOVE with.

They're like butter... So soft and silky...of course, it's a combo of the cotton and the thread couont because the lower ones are soft but not as soft as the ones we have on our bed.

Hardly ever but since we are in the new house we have one double bed and two queen size beds so I bought two sets. Won't be buying any more for at least a few years.

i buy a whole new duvet /sheet/matching rug set about every 6-8 months..i get bored very fast
and at homegoods or marshalls i can get a great deal and "re-do" my bedroom for under $150
