When and how did you introduce yogurt?

My baby is 9 months old and has been having more days when he refuses the bottle. Ped said I should introduce yogurt to supplement the nutrients he is missing from his formula.

When did you introduce it and did you use it as a snack?

He eats breakfast, lunch, dinner and naps twice a day. I am finding it hard to figure out when I should add it in to his schedule.

I started at 9 months by giving him half of a yobaby at first in between bottles.
Now at 11 months, he eats an entire yobaby but I mix a little cereal into it as it's very liquidy.

i got the okay for yogurt when they were 7 months . they LOVE it.

I tried as a snack when he was 9 months. He liked it but his tummy didn't handle it well. I tried again when he was 12 months and he was fine. I have never used it as a meal but I think you probably could. I give him Yobaby.

we started solids at 4m, DS was on regular formula
we give it every day, it helped DS tremendously with all his gas and constipation issues, and its his favorite food.

We give it every day with homeade fruit puree.


I give him greek yogurt mixed with cottage cheese. Because I can't find full fat greek yogurt and I want him to get some fat.
