Washington DC & Baltimore - January
DC: Has anyone ever been on the night tours? Any must sees besides the major monuments?
Baltimore: I know its better in the summer - with the inner harbor - but has anyone gone in the winter? How is the inner harbor in winter? What else?
I know its vague ~ TIA!

I've never been on any of the night tours but seeing the monument at night is really nice!! Here are some other places to see/things to do in DC on top of the monuments...
There are TONS of museums and 99% of them are free (anything that is part of the Smithsonian is free). They have an awesome Natural History Museum.
DH took me to the Hirschhorn on a date and hired a private dousant. She took us on a tour of the entire museum and it was a lot of fun!
I'm sure you know this but if you want to get inside the Capitol/White House you need to do this in advance by contacting your congressman.
People from DC seem to LOVE Ben's Chili Bowl, it's on U Street.
The National Zoo is awesome!! Their pandas are adorable.
The Botanical Gardens are beautiful! We were just there in June and it was incredible!

We were there for Thanksgiving one year and it was cold. As long as you bundle up I'm sure you'll have a great time.
Just hit the museums and you'll be toasty!
