blowing hair under in the back
i need some tips here...i can always blow out my hair nicely in the front, but the back is a mess! It's a short layered bob but it's pretty wavy and thick in the back and I always feel like it looks like crap! please share your tips!

For Hanukkah one of my gift from my MIL was this stuff called lazer straight unite
It's been awesome for my hair. Makes it straight and easier to manage and blow out quick. Maybe some kind of product like that to help blow out the back.
I hate it too. Just use the roller brush and keep trying.

i put my wet hair almost all up in a clip and take only a section at a time and blow it out
if you start with the back first with no other hair down to pull away from concentrating on the back, it should come out better

I blow out my hair myself and it looks really good (ive been doing it since I was 15 LOL) anyway, its much longer than a bob, comes to the middle of my back, but I have found that the best thing it to section it off.
Start with the hair at the nape/bottom of your neck and put all the other hair up. then put a little more down, etc. etc. till your done. Also blow dry it while its still wet so you can manipulate where the hari dries. I find if I blow dry it while its almost dry or dry, forget it, I cant get the shape I want.

I flip my head over and blow it out with a round boar bristle brush.

I have a short bob also. I spray some blow drying spay and use one of these "vent" brushes
I always start with the back first since it dries the fastest. I flip my hair over and start from the back and brush forward. Once it starts to dry, I flip back over and take the brush underneath the ends of my hair that hit right at the back of my neck and run the brush and dryer over it in a rounding motion
