it's the diagonal measurement. Look, the dimensions of the unit could be off. The TV could somehow fit but most likely it won't.
Does DH really really really want this to happen? Sounds like wishful thinking.
Look at it this way, if it doesn't fit you can do the I told you so dance.
Just keep your mouth shut for now until the big reveal.
.....he does really want this to work. He got some deal on some LED 3D TV with a BluRay and 3D glasses and 3 Shrek movies or something. I haven't seen him so excited over a purchase...so I am trying not to pee on his parade. 
if you don't mind.... what's a good deal on the 3d tv?
i'm soooo curious about these 3d tv's!!!

I personally find it silly to buy a 3D tv, since no channels are in 3D yet and who knows if it will really "take off" or if by the time it comes around, I'm sure there will be new 3D tvs, KWIM?
