I work for a newspaper..so we're open. but its a half day.
and b/c im part time and started in august, I have no vacay time yet. so im stuck working.

I'm not working, but that isn't surprising because we have off the whole week between Christmas and New Years, too. The cool thing is that my husband has off, because he works retail and he would generally have to work...but his days off are Friday and Saturday so it works perfectly for us. Yay!

I am a SAHM but DH will be working half day. Then the boss is taking the workers (all 4 of them) out to lunch.

We have off... only because Christmas Day is a weekend... when Christmas day is during the week we have off that day and half day on the 24th

When I worked in an office I think I had to work but got out early.
I also used to waitress. My brother and I worked at the same place it was fun but that was also when I was single.

I work at a Yeshiva school so I have work on Xmas eve. Luckily, xmas eve falls on a Friday so we get out early anyway!

I realized that i posted the question but did not answer! We had off, then my boss forgot that he gave us off, so now we are opened and we are all trying to figure out how to convience him to give us off again!
Not to mention we will come in and work until 12, and then have lunch in the office together! Aint that some crap!
Ohh... and the icing on the cake, all the companies we deal with are closed!!!

We usually do, but not this year. They try to give us a 3 day weekend, and since xmas is on sat, they gave Friday off.
same here..although i usually take the day off.Cant stand working on Christmas Eve

Because the holiday is on Sat we get Friday off.
The ILs are supposed to fly in tomorrow (weather permitting) so I'm off from the 21st till the 3rd.
Most agencies are closed the week between holidays so I see no point in coming in

My job will honor the Federal Holiday, which is Friday so we have off... normally we do work & it's a half day, just this year we got lucky with xmas being Saturday.

My office is closed Christmas Eve.
My old office I had to work half day & it was horrible because my family hosts Christmas Eve. After I worked one year I took off every year after that because its just too much.

My DH is working Christmas Eve until 6 p.m. or so.
