How do you puree the food so finely? I tried for the first time today to make peas for the baby, but with both the food processor and the blender, I couldn't really get the skins to become pureed. The baby would take only 2 small spoonfuls (not sure if it was the peas she disliked or the texture). Please let me know how you do it. TIA!

With certain fruits and veggies (like peas and blueberries), I would use the mesh strainer to mash them up even more and leave the skins out when she was really little.

With peas I puree in my mini food processor and then to get rid of the skins I push the puree through a strainer. It comes out silky smooth.

I would add water or breast milk if something was too chunky or thick...

Some veggies just need extra straining step, but I skipped it and instead mixed with more water, or got the baby accustomed to the texture by mixing it with something familiar like applesauce. And gradually add less and less apple.

I usually add more water and then puree more. It won't ever be as smooth as the jarred kind, but I find that not straining it has been best because I was able to move onto different textures more easily with both kids.

The skins always pureed fine in my food processor. I never really had a problem with it.

We use the Magic Bullet which is AMAZING for making baby food! It's makes most things reallllly smooth! Like others have said, we also add BM or water if the consistency is too thick or chunky.

I would increase the water in it and then I use a hand mixer. You can also get a strainer and strain things like peas through it.
