TMI questions about #2's...and i don't mean second children....
ive been wanting to ask for days, but i couldnt bring myself too... but now im getting deperate 
sooo pretty much since 7w ive had, im sorry for the major TMI, diarrhea.. i know many ladies are constipated during the first tri.. but the amount of times that i am going a day is become excessive. every time i eat anything, carbs, acids, ANYTHING, within an hour my stomach hurts and i have to go..
its been like this for pretty much 2.5 weeks..
if you've read this far, here is the MAJOR tmi part.... i've noticed that a lot of the #2 is mucusy. i googled a bit and it seems normal but everything i read says it will go away in a few days. for me iit will get SLIGHTLY better for a day or two, and then be really bad again for a day or two... but it hasn't gone away at all. every morning i wake up with horrible stomach pains so bad that i cant go back to sleep until i go.. and sometimes it takes 2-3 trips to the bathroom before its all out... and then its just a waiting game until i eat something else..
im having a hard enough time eating these days so this isnt helping. im trying to drink more water, i think i might be dehydrated. but for 2.5 WEEKS?? im also trying metamucil wafers at my DH's recommendation..
anyone feel like this?? im 9w5d...
ETA - im still on metformin. im thinking of asking if i can stop. i dont know if its contributing to the issue or not. i usually tolerate it fine, i actually never had any side effects from it, but now im not sure its helping the matter...

This happened to me!! I always had constipation issues before getting pregnant and after I got my BFP I had the opposite of that!

ive been on the same prenatal for 20 months.
do you think suddenly that now it would have this effect?
i find that the #2s are all day after i eat, regardless of when i take the prenatal. i would think met would be the culprit more than the prenatal, but i never really thought about it.. hmm.

I had the same problem when I got pg with DS through IVF. My doc told me that he thought it was the progesterone I was still on. It did get better! My stomach "issues" that I had before getting pg with him cleared up while pregnant, too. I hope you feel better soon!

Ugh, I have this issue when I am not pregnant, but pregnant I often go days without anything. I had the mucousy stools and diarrhea (along with other symptoms) for a few years I was eventually diagnosed with IBS. Not saying that's what your issue is because I had literally every other stomach aliment happening at the same time. However, I noticed that it often happened after I ate fatty or fried foods. I know you said you aren't eating much, but maybe it's food related? Has your diet changed since BFP? Just make sure to keep hydrated! I'm sorry you are dealing with this it's crumby.

aww I'm so sorry to hear this.
I did have some issues with the poop.
Constipated and couldn't go for a few days and it was hard to go.
then i'd have an explosion.
it seemed to go back and forth. and the gas pains happen pretty frequently for me as well.
talk to the dr about it. I'm so sorry. I know it can be uncomfortable.

It very well might, being as theres something brewing now that asn't around for the past 20 months  !
I have heard the Met doing a number on the belly also , so maybe its not a good combination....
I'd mention it to your OB and see what they say

well i am still on 2CCs of PIO every night!! i prob dont need to be on such a high dose at this point, my progesterone numbers have been SUPER high this PG.. i wonder if thats the issue. i want to ask dr. b but i feel SO awkward emailing him about it. and i usually have NO shame with him..

so i cut back on the dosage. It also was the reason for my morning sickness too. Within 15 minutes after I ate I would be sick. Since then, I haven't been too keen on taking it.
Ask your doc.HTH!!

i was taking three mets at once.... 1500mg then I dropped it down to 500 my ob said to and that i really didnt even need to take it. since then i have been better. sometimes i try to space them out, one in the morning, one at night. but i have ti admit, i have been pretty forgetful more often than not....
i am curious what dr. b will say. do you mind fming me his response???

crashing... I have no advice but I just wanted to say congratulations!!! I remember you from when I was TTC and preggo and on these boards regularly and just wanted to say I'm so happy for you!!! To a happy and healthy pregnancy!!!

have you had problems with IBS or food allergies (like lactose intolerance) before getting PG? even though i know a few women who had really bad diarrhea because of that...but it wound up getting better for all of them in the second trimester!

I just wanted to say that the Metformin killed me! It tore my stomach up all day everyday! And as for the PIO you will probably be coming off that soon I think they usually just keep you ion it until 10 weeks so maybe he will allow you to stop both and see how you do. Just wanted to say Congrats and I hope you feel better soon! LOL Wish I could go now. This pregnancy has been killing me with this. I am going days on end w/o anything

With this pregnancy I def had a bought of diarrhea and it was gross. It only lasted about a week. And since then I've either been going fine or constipated.
I'd give the doc a buzz and see what they say. Maybe they can recommend something else.
In the mean time I'd eat a lot of the BRAT diet (Bananas, Rice, Apples, Toast) and stay away from fiber. And keep up on the water so you don't get dehydrated.
