Memberships.. What are you members of?
My MIL loves to send us cash for Christmas. She is quite generous but, honestly.. every single year it just goes to bills and that kind of sucks.
So I was thinking of asking her to purchase a membership to something so that we can enjoy it as a family. We already are members of the WCF (Bronx and all city zoos and aquariums) until August.
We love to do things on the weekend and are not opposed to traveling to the city or out east.
Any idea? Classes even?

We hve the Bronx zoo, NY aquarium, etc.... membership
Next year I will get the local pool family Summer pass for the whole season.

Ask for a Netflix subscription.
Lots of kids movies on there... will help you not have to go to the theaters for entertainment. So easy. Everyone can use it.
I think you were looking for places but... just something else to consider.
When it's January-March and no one wants to be outside and you want to stay in and snuggle -- this will be useful.

We are members of the LICM and the Bronx Zoo (and all that comes with it).
We used to belong to the Cradle of Aviation and DD#1 loved it - but I didn't renew it when I had DD#2. I might get it again esp b.c it gives us a place to go in the winter. It is great b.c you can go to the LICM for a short time then skip over to the CoA when it gets crowded.

The Brooklyn Children's Museum.. I never thought of that. I wasn't a fan of the LICM. Everything was broken. Is that one better?

Do you guys have a good Children's Museum out there?
We have a small one in the next town over here and I love it. It's $75 a year for both my kids.
