Bday Party Question-- Favors
I cannot believe I just started planning the 2nd birthday!
Anyway, so I am doing it at this kiddie arts place, where the kids will make an art project-- a painted pottery item AND decorate a shopping bag to take it home in. This is all included in the price, and I kinda feel suffices as a favor.
I spoke to the woman today, and she's like-- I can help you with favors too. I even said to her that a favor on top of that seemed excessive-- and she said originally when she started doing these, she planned for the project to be the favor also, but people wanted to give the kids favors anyway!!
I guess I will see how many kids I end up having-- I am inviting 20 including Sash, but not everyone is local and I am thinking I will have anywhere from 12 to 16.
Do I really need to spend MORE money?? Party is not cheap as it is.

Sounds like they are making their own favors to me! More than enough.

yes, she told me the most popular favor she did was $6.50 a pop!
I can probably do my own, I am creative enough-- if I wanted to do a little somehting.
Just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy with the favors!

Re: Bday Party Question-- Favors
My DD went to one of these and I was surprised but she did get a favor. It was a little plastic pencil box with a few craft things in it and some sticker, maybe a lollipop or candy. Is it necessary? No I don't think so.

Re: Bday Party Question-- Favors
I don't think it's necessary to do a favor in addition to what you are already doing.

Re: Bday Party Question-- Favors
I definitely don't think it's necessary. You could always wrap a little coloring book and 3 crayons in celophane or something super cheap like that.
