Does anyone know anything about the google tablet? Android? I can't really find much info on it

Samsung Tab
There are many tablets floating around but none really compare to the above.
You have a choice with which carrier you buy it though so you can get mobile 3G.
iPads are starting to filter out to verizon, sprint, etc...

you can get 3G and wifi tablets. i've been looking for my mother b/c I don't think she needs a full iPad. most of the reviews I read of non-Mac tablets have people who like them and then plenty of complaints about responsiveness, battery life, and reliability with access to sites, etc. I'm not sure I'll spring for one. There is a very simple one for cheap at Walgreens though, it's by Maylong. It may be more like a more advanced book reader than a full on tablet.
