BRU charged me twice tonight!!!

BRU charged me twice tonight!!!
I went there tonight to get a lot of baby stuff and left after 9:00pm and just checked my checking acct. and they charge me the same amount twice!   It was $200.00. I really hope that they don't give me a hard time about this and it doesn't take a long time to refund me the money because I desparately need that money for my car payment. Do you think they'll give me a hard time?

did the payment come out already? or is it just a pending charge? like a hold? It seems too quick for them to of fully charged you already.
if it's just a pending charge as of now, which is what i would suspect it should be, then you would have to wait until the money is deducted from your acct before you can claim it as a mistake. however, i've seen double pending charges occur but then in the end only 1 charge actually goes through... so hopefully that is the case. that just happened to me a few days ago with stop and shop. it depends on how the merchant machine works for that particular company.

I would contact my bank asap and let them know....they should be able to remove one of the charges since it was prob done at the same exact time.

contact your bank. this happen to me recently with something else and they credited my account with the money that was charged twice!

that happened to me TWICE @ bru.
The first time it happened, I called the store and complained, and was told that once they "close out" their financials for that day, they'll compare charges and receipts and remove any duplicate charges.
2 days later the charge was removed from account and the money was back in.
