I had a Chi for years and loved it. It finally broke after years of abuse but my hair dresser who originally recommended it to me said they are not making them as well and are no longer worth the money. She recommended an Ion which I got at Sally Beauty for like $70, I really like it!

I have the Remington. It's digital and warms up in 15 seconds. LOVE IT. Spent about $40

Sedu! I got it from ulta for about $100. I've had many flat irons, but nothing compares! They also have a great warranty. Mine stopped working after almost 2 years, I sent it back and had a brand new one at my door in a week.

I agree! I've had Hot tools, a Chi ceramic and Metropolis Tourmaline- but the Conair is byfar the cheapest and has been great! I've never actually tried it wet but it comes out so smooth after blow drying plus it's been about 5 yrs and it's still working. I think it's great b/c the plates are much wider = less time for me

ETA: I've always used it when my hair is wet, and it works GREAT!!!!! I think I got it at Ulta.
