So two friends have new haircuts, and I want one, but want opinions. . .
Here is a pictureme - granted this pic is over 2 yrs old, but I have the same face. 
My hair is hilighted (1/2 head) and there is a contrast of dark/light (almost like the 2-tone look)
Here are some styles (not color) I'm interested in. . .
I'm afraid of bangs (feel like they make me look 12) but I keep seeing and loving this one of Nicole Richie
Any thoughts?

i dont know about the styles. just want to say that i got bangs like the first pic and after not having bangs since 5th grade, they annoyed the cr@p out of me. I eventually grew them long again because I could not retrain my hair to go back that way and they kept falling in my eyes (cus they were long).

what is your hair texture, I cant tell from the pic, but it looks to be wavy and thick, and if thats the case, the blunt angled bobs could be a PITA to do every day.

If it dries naturally, it has a wave to it. It's not super thick though. I dont mind blowing it out- it's not too challenging for me.

Totally agree, but I like the last two styles. The shorter hair without the bangs!

I just cut my hair kind of similar to this style and I got bangs, I love the cut but regret the bangs (they were fun for maybe 3 weeks).
Out of those pic's I love the Tila cut the best.

I do too, but when I showed DH, he said it was too short. I also REALLY like the Tila one too.

I have been sporting a similar cut to Tila's for about 6 months now... I get SO many compliments on it, and my husband LOOOOOVES the cut.
ETA - it is INSANELY easy to maintain - much easier than before!

Bxgell = LOVE that cut on you. It's totally how I am envisioning my next cut. I have been growing my bangs out for over a year and now that my hair is longer, I need to even-it-all-around cut!

GO FOR IT! You won't regret it!! It saves me SO much time in the morning. I wash it 2-3 times a week - it only takes 5 minutes to blowdry and another 10 minutes to straighten, if that. The other days, I just wake up, put on a little makeup, throw on my clothes, and I'm out the door within 15 minutes!  And my hair looks better than it ever did before when I was spending so much time washing/drying it!

I had a cut similar to Nicole Ritchie.. I loved it for like a month and then the bangs grew out and my hair was back in a pony tail.. if you can maintain it, do it!
Now my hair is a long mess.. I need find a decent stylist..
