Nighttime feedings....
For almost 2 straight weeks, DD was sleeping through the entire night so we decided to transition her from a bassinet in our bedroom to her crib in her room.
That was 3 nights ago.... for the past 3 nights, she has been waking up between 2 and 3 am. She does not cry when she wakes but she keeps putting her hands in her mouth and tried to suck on all her fingers (This is her typical hunger signal). I watch her on the baby monitor and when I see this, I come into her room to feed her. She feeds for about 20-30 minutes and goes back to bed.
My question is this.... should I continue feeding her when she starts to put her fingers in her mouth or wait for her to fall asleep on her own or cry for food?
ETA: She just turned 3 months old

Re: Nighttime feedings....
My first instinct is to say wait for her to cry. Maybe she will go back to sleep.

I kind of agree with this. How many lbs does your baby weigh? I would think at 3 months, and especially since she slept through the night without any feedings before, that she doesnt need the extra feeding. I would say to let her keep sucking on her fingers and watch her. She will probably go back to sleep. I would be careful about starting the eating habit again during the night.

Re: Nighttime feedings....
I woudl say since she was sleeping through the night in her bassinet that means she CAN stay without that feeding.
Maybe the fingers in her mouth is something to soothe herself or keep her busy? lol... then again im a 1st time mommy so what do I know.
Personally I wouldnt go to her unless she is crying, she might fall back to sleep.
