Vegas with a 3 year old

Well, I guess this is the year for conferences for me. I am going to one very soon but I was invited to speak at another one in the Spring. I want my husband and 3 year old son to come with me. It is at Caesars Palace and I always prefer to stay at the conference hotel. Are there lots of attractions for kids? We honestly would not miss the casino or we could always take turns going while the other spouse goes with some other people from our group. Should I bother to go through the expense of bringing the family and should my husband take vacation time for this? So far my son has been okay on airplanes.

I can't tell you what you would want to do with your son in Vegas and how you would want to entertain him but when we went there in March of this year I was shocked at the amount of kids on the strip. A lot of people were there with their children, and not older children, I am talking strollers! So, clearly, it's not such an insane idea and I guess they all find someway to have a good time and keep the kids entertained!

i was there last summer and babies maybe two months old at the most were there. i was a little surprised at the amount of kids there.

we visited all the hotels free attractions and he might like most of them. i don't know if he would get scared at some of them. circus at circus circus, lions at mgm, m&m world, flamingos at the flamingo, mirage has the tigers.

What time of year will you be going? If it's warmer months at least you would have the pool.
