Register with Target Online or In-Store?

Ladies I'm sure this has been asked before... My searches don't come up with an answer.

Whats the difference with registering online or in-store?

I did BRU but there are things cheaper in Target and convenience for some family members. ITA

I you register online with target, the problem is that MANY of the items might not be stocked in the actual store. Each store has their own inventory and I found that so much of the stuff wouldnt be there when I actually went to the store.

I went to the store and registered at Target and they gave me a whole lot of coupons, a gift bag, etc. Also like someone else mentioned, there are a LOT of items available "online only" on the Target website. But a lot of people really like to GO to target to get you stuff. So registering in store means there will be more options.

What I did was to register in the store and then go online at home and add to it. It seems to have worked pretty well. People seem to be using my Target and Amazon registries pretty much exclusively (very few items were bought at BBB, but Target and Amazon are more convenient for most people).
