How much to spend for a good friend's child for a bris?
TIA!
Just wondering if this is like a gift you would send when the baby is born or more like a baptism gift in amount and also what is typically given. Thank you!

I would spend the same amount that you would spend on a gift for a shower or baptism.

It's more like a baptism gift. That said however, I always give what I can afford. If I don't have cash to give I make sure to find an adorable outfit that I think will be the mom's taste.

I would give what you would normally give for a baby shower or baptism.
