Free furniture!
Hi ladies, thought I would post this here since I'd rather give this stuff to someone I "know"... I do live in Westchester, so this may not be convenient for everyone.
Would prefer one person to take everything... but, here is what I have. These are all old, very good quality solid wood pieces. They belonged to my grandparents, and my dad held onto for me, but now that I am more "in" my house, I don't have any places where these would go.
"Pie Table". This is in great shape and does not need refinishing... The table stores, with the top folded down, then opens up to be a round table.
"Dining Table". Not sure exactly what this style is called, but it's like a console table-- but it has several leaves (sp?), so it turns into a dining table. This piece would need to be sanded and painted or refinished.
"End/Small Table". This piece has the ends folded down, but opens up to be a small oval table. Actually had this as my dining table in my first apt in the city. This piece needs some tlc. FYI, the leaves for the above table are on top of this table in the pic.
I also have these two pics for a kitchen area-- we bought these at BBB for like $40 each a couple of years ago. We don't have a place in the new house for them.

It is very generous of you to offer everyone! The pieces are beautiful, and are probably antiques. Maybe you should email pictures to a local antique shop. You can probably get $$ for them.

That pie table is so pretty! I wish I had room for it. You probably could get money for it and the dining table from an antique store.
We have a table similar to the dining table but slightly more ornate that we use as a desk. It's one of my favorite pieces in our house.

I love the pie table. I would contact a local dealer - I have seen that same table fetch a LOT of money. If you are giving it away, I would be happy to have it, but would feel guilty not telling you that you could likely get 1000+ for it....
