Transition to big bed question
Did anyone have a problem getting DC to stay in the big bed if the crib was still in the room?
We are switching him to the big boy bed today/tonight but his crib is still in the room. You think he will want to still be in the crib? Or should I fill it with blankets, etc. so he knows he can't go in it?

we started with both kids, crib in the room, nap in bed and crib at night, and then we just took the crib apart and they had no choice.
neither kids were big crib users so it really didnt bother them one way or another. maybe you can put a sheet over it, if you see he wants to sleep in it

We took it out. DS hates change. so I didnt want the option. He had no issue with transition.
