anyone else not into family photos?
I just have no interest in putting up pics of DH and I - I don't have any wedding photos up. I only have 2 pics of us and funny enough - one is in a picture frame with shutters that you can close. I much rather have a piece of art or a painting for people to look at. Maybe I watch too much home staging shows

I am the same way..... maybe a wedding photo in the bedroom, but not big into photos of us around the house.
You know those houses you go to - and there is an entire wall of wedding photos? It was never really my style. I was there. I know what went down. It's over.  but that's just my own view on it for my house; I don't care what others do.
eta: before someone jumps on me for being a wedding-hater, my DH has a ton of awards and certificates and those "good job" things from his career....he wanted them all over the living room. I don't want our house to be a shrine to ourselves, so I banished them to his man cave. Now we are both happy.

I like having a few throughout the house, but I am not into overkill. This is why I like to designate a hallway or something for photos-- then have other meaningful ones on a shelf or something peppered throughout the house--a great pic of DD, or one of DH and I that I love..

Nothing! Just one of DD in her bedroom. I love pictures, just not on my walls. I have the people in my hearts, computer, kodak photobooks that I create annually. My mom says that my house feels staged and cold. I call it clutter free and less to clean. To each their own. I am all about minimalism.

When I open a kitchen cabinet, I will have a pic of DS, or DS and DH.....so, when I reach for a glass or dish, I get a little surprise.
I think that's kinda cool, but not everyone would like that. I'm weird.

Me too. I have no pics of DH and I up. All of our photos are in albums. I dont need to see 20 pictures of myself all over the house - I would much rather have a nice art piece

Me too! I am into modern, hotel, chic. Do I achieve that? Probably not. But, I like no clutter or knick knacks. I prefer to hang metal wall art or mirrors.

Depends. I like a few. I have a neat little hallway that has a bunch there and I love the way it looks.
Other than that, I have a few on a console table and an entry table.

Never really was a fan. I have only a few in my house. Most likely because my mom was a BIG fan of them and I couldn't stand how it looked.

We hardly have any pictures up. I am not really a fan of wedding pictures all over the house. We have one in a frame in our room.
I am the worst about printing pictures. I have a clock picture frame in my living room and I never put a picture in it. The other day we had people coming over so I found a pretty picture in a magazine and put it in the frame. If we have empty frames I will put photos from People magazine in them just because Dog The Bounty Hunter makes me laugh.
