Would you be mad if your DH made golf plans on Halloween day?
Would you make him cancel?
DH made golf plans on Halloween day - Oct 31. When I mentioned to him that it is halloween, he looked blank at me and seemed to not know the date of halloween!!!! 
We have tons of halloween stuff planned this weekend and have a halloween playdate on Oct 30.
Would you just let it go that DH doesn't know the date of Halloween and find something to do alone with DS?

Thank goodness my DH is not into golf but is it an all day thing? I guess if he wanted to do just an the early morning and by afternoon do something in the afternoon as a family. If it was something that DH would be busy doing all day I would be annoyed because I would like to do things like that as a family. For instance we haven't gone pumpkin picking yet because he had to work every weekend so far and I wont go without him, I want pictures of all us together you know. So I hear your fustration

I'd let it go. It probably won't be an all day thing anyway. And you'll only be trick or treating with DS for an hour or so anyway.

As long as his tee time was in the morning, I would be ok with it. Thrilled, not really. But as long as he was available for family stuff, then it wouldn't be a big deal.

yes and I would ask him to cancel. my dh has a habit of saying oh I'll be home and 12 and shows up much later

I would be thrilled. I honestly can't remember the last thing he did that involved his friends and not me or DD. Isn't your DH a doctor? I would think long hours, and stressful situations are a daily occurance. One day out on a gold course with friends will be good for him.

i would tell DH what was planned with the kids and leave it up to him. Now...if he told me he was GOING to plan something I'd tell him no way...but if it's already set I'd tell him what he was missing  and let him decide.
No matter what...don't let this interfere with your celebrations with your son. Go and have fun and take lots of pictures!

IF dh played golf I wouldn't care. He's not coming tot with us anyway. He stays home and deals with then town kids.. I take ds with my mom.

Normally I would be happy for him to go. He is so oblivious when it comes to holidays. Every year I have to remind him about Memorial Day and we were married that weekend!

I wouldn't care. It's Halloween, not Christmas and I guess we don't really do anything during the day anyway. If we had plans already and he booked gold I'd be annoyed but DH also knows to check with me before making plans since he never remembers anything I tell him we have going on.

Because we don't do anything special for Halloween, I wouldn't care. Since it sounds like you made plans for that day/weekend, then it would upset me.
