Thanks everyone!
I brought him to the ped yesterday and he was happy with the stitch job that the ER doc did. James, however, already ripped out one of his stitches - my little brute. 
I was concerned about 2 things - 1, the fact that he bled for over 3 hours straight without clotting and 2, he never expressed ANY sign of hurt when he sliced his finger. If he hadn't said mama, I wouldn't have known he was cut and bleeding. The ped didn't seem to be concerned about these things, though - so neither am I (anymore).  The stitches come out Wednesday - until then, he's rocking a camo bandage!

OMG Vanessa!!!  I'm so glad to hear that he's alright. How scary!!!!!!
I'm telling you, I've never had so many adrenaline scares until I became a parent. Had one tonight, actually. It's no wonder the grey hairs start to pop up more quickly! 
I hope YOU are doing alright!
