Hotel Bellagio Las Vegas
We are thinking of going for our 1 year anniversary. How is this hotel? Do we need to rent a car or is it close enough we can get a shuttle? This would be our first time going to Las Vegas so we are pretty clueless...

It's a beautiful hotel and close to all the main attraction hotels. No need to rent a car in Vegas at all. So close to the airport too so just cab it.
You can walk every where or there are shuttles that stop at hotels too.

I've stayed there, its great! The rooms are beautiful, the casinos were great fun, and we really enjoyed the pool! I don't think you need to rent a car, you can walk up and down the strip, and take taxis if you need to.

We stayed her on our HM and it was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lie to them, and tell them you are on your HM, they upgraded us to the most UNBELIEVABLE GINORMOUS 4 room suite, centered on the fountains.
We walked all of Vegas right from the hotel and took a cab to it from the hotel, it was no big deal. Definitely no need to rent a car.

I've stayed there before and it was hands down the best place in Vegas IMHO. Excellent service, beautiful rooms, overall wonderful experience.

We didn't stay -- but visited -- and it's a great hotel! Just gorgeous and top notch.
As for renting a car -- do NOT bother. You can walk or cab it anywhere in Vegas easily.
We actually booked a limo to pick us up and drop us off and they took us up and down the strip with a bottle of champagne. It let us start the trip off RIGHT.

It is a beautiful hotel!! When you get there make sure you tell the check-in desk that it's your anniversary. They'll be able to check to see if there are fountain view rooms available. We had that and it was awesome!

Totally recommend! We went there for our 1 year anniversaty too! stayed a WEEK
Our room was right over the fountain show!
It was wonderful!
