things to do with a sick kid??

DS is almost 16 months... and he's had a nasty cold for almost 2 weeks. Already went to the peds....ear infection on top of the cold ugh.

BUT....he's still wanting to run around like a crazy man! I feel so bad, I dont want to take him to the playgrounds/play centers because I dont want him to spread his cold to other kids.

Where do you take your kids to burn off some energy when they are under the weather? (besides the backyard....I need to get out of my house in the car )

wha about an aquarium or even petco.. to see animals....!? i dont know i have a sick kid too and grandparents and aunt came to rescue yesterday for some entertainment.

Take him somewhere he can just run around. Doesn't have to be a playground. Just find some place with a lot of grass. Bring a blanket and some of his toys....I know how it feels to be stuck in the house...
