Ductless central air
woops hit enter 2 soon lol
Just wondering if anyone has this in their basement? we have regular central air upstairs but want to put the ductless unit in the basement. If you do have it could you please tell me who installed it for you?
I am in eastern suffolk thanks

we priced it out for our first floor since we have the raised ceilings with exposed beams. there isn't any room for ducts. its was 4 or 5x the cost of traditional duct ac. its cheaper to actually add on another unit and the ducts outside vs installing the units.
And don't be fooled, the units look inexpensive on the internet. they even sell them on ebay, but unless they are installed by a certified installer, the warrenty is void. all the HVAC companies we priced wanted so much $ to install it, it was not even close to worth it!

wow thats good to know. My dad thought maybe it ran about 3,000 for just the AC one, not the one with heat. We might be better off just throwing a unit in the window down there and calling it a day.
How is your hair btw?
