Broadway Experts Rock of Ages
My friends and I are planning a Saturday in the city and would like to see Rock of Ages. Does anyone have a good link or code for discounted tickets? I found one to receive 40% off but that is only valid on shows until the end of October.
We are planning to go on November 13 to the 2pm show. I am a cheap bast@rd and I never pay full price.
Please help!!! Thanks

FYI
Dee Snyder is joining the cast for 11 wks I believe, starting October 13th.
That is likely why the discount pricing is going to be ending on October 31st. Chances are, with him joining them, the ticket sales will go up again and they won't have much of a need for discounts.
Almost every weekend, they have tickets available at the TKTS booth in Times Square. If you don't want to pay full price, and are willing to take the risk, you can try going there the day of the performance.

They also have "student rush" tickets (available to anyone, not just students) for somewhere around $25 per ticket. You have to get to the theatre early in the day and submit your name into a lottery, two tickets per name max. Sometimes they offer obstructed view seats for the lottery losers for about $35 per ticket. But this probably wouldn't work for you if you need to make actual plans, only if you have a free day and want to see if you win the lottery! Info is on the show's website, I believe.

He's replacing a pretty main character too. Who knows, maybe reviews of his first night will be awful, that they need sales!
Remember -- Orchestra & front mezz are NOT necessary in that theater. The first few rows of Rear Mezz are great and a lot less money.

I would rather go to the TKTS booth or do something like this and have which show we go to be a magical mystery but the girls I am going with have their hearts set on this show.
Thank you for your help next time I want to go to a cheap show I will call you.

I saw it last week (for the 3rd time ) and I think I like Mitch even BETTER as Stacee Jaxx. He was HILARIOUS and awesome at the same time!

Broadwaybox.com always has coupons once they expire a week or so later they always put up a new one so if you plan to go later in the year be patient a new code will probably come up. My library always has coupon codes available for shows too

Re: Broadway Experts Rock of Ages
check out travelzoo.com but from my personal experience, most shows don't discount tickets much from nov-mid january. everyone seems to come to the city durning that time and buy up tickets so they don't need too. good luck! DH and I really want to see it but I don't want to pay that much for a show
