I don't know if they scan or how they do it but BJs does photo cakes. I think the people I know who did it brought in a photo so I assume they can scan.

I know BJ's does. You just take a photo that you want put on the cake and they can do it for you. To tell you the truth, I dont remember if they charged any extra for it....and if they did then it was really minimal (a few dollars).

BJ's does. We gave them a Backyardigans pic for my DD's 1st bday cake and they put it on there for us.

BJs Did DD's cake-I think it must have been scanned, it was gorgeous. We did a 1/2 sheet and it cost a total of $20-best deal ever.
