opinion on long car ride
We are taking the kids to visit my best friend and her DH and kids in Madison, WI Oct 29th-Nov 7th. We will be driving, the total driving time is 18 hours. So the question is, with a 2.5 yr old, a 17 month old, and a 5 week old would you leave home at 3 AM and drive through, arriving at 8 PM on Sat night OR leave 1 PM Fri, stop at a hotel in PA at the halfway point at 9 PM, wake up at 7 and be on the road by 7:30, arrival 5 PM on sat...thoughts?

I would do the 2nd option. I think it would be better for everyone to stop and rest.
