Some questions about working in stores during the holidays

I may want to get a job during the holiday season. I have a few questions.

1) Are there any other seasonal jobs that I can do besides working in a store?

2) What is the pay scale of holiday employees that work in stores?

3) Any ideas which stores pay the best and which pay the worst?

TIA

Re: Some questions about working in stores during the holidays

Being in retail management I can tell you this.

We hire seasonal employees same pay rate as those who are non-seasonal

I don't know of any other seasonal jobs for the holidays outside retail that I can think of

If you want to do it - get a job somewhere you can take advantage of an employee discount. Either someplace you can buy christmas gifts/things you will use yourself.

Stores in the mall (banana, anntaylor, jcrew etc) usually offer a great employee discount

Big box places like target is more like only 10%
