Spin-off to Hair Coloring...
Would you get your hair straightened? My OB said it's completely fine, she is not worried in the least. I have been dragging my feet with it though because of the conflicting opinions.
Thoughs?

Do you mean Japanese or Brazilian? I would absolutely not do it while pregnanct, but that's just me!

No way. I had JHS before I got pregnant, and won't think about doing it again until i'm done BFing. The chemicals used to straighten hair aren't saafe. (The Brazilian Keratin straighteners have formaldahyde in it! No idea what's in JHS). I bought a flatiron for touch-ups.

I feel the same way all of you do. However my doctor didn't see anything wrong with it.
