North Fork
Can anyone tell me about the North Fork for a day trip? A very busy work schedule has left DH and I needing a break. DS is 5 months and will be coming along. Looking for pretty scenery & casual baby-friendly dining.

We love to go to the wineries out there. We pack a picnic lunch and eat outside at one - like Osprey's Dominion. OR eat at the Lobster Roll North or Love Lane Kitchen. Both are good and kid friendly.
Greenport has the carosel and lots of shops too.

I love Greenport  It's such a nice town and has the best casual seafood restaurants.

Greenport is a great place to walk around but I do not like any of the restaurants there. Or if you want to go to a great park, Orient Beach State Park is awesome and then you can head right over to Orient by the Sea Restaurant which is very kid friendly!

greenport is def a cute town to walk around, carousel, ice cream shops. So cute.
We also went to Martha Clara Vineyards and it was very kid friendly - live music, horse and carriage ride and a little farm to see pigs, sheep, horses etc. and a huge open field for the kids to run around while we enjoy the wine =)

A friend of mine just opened a restaurant in Greenport, its called Farm House. So far they're getting great reviews, we just need to find the time to drive all the way out there!
