Hair breakage

I wear my hair on pony holders a lot. I think I have way too much breakage.

I think I will have to cut my hair short so it looks ok. My hair is so thin and brittle on the bottom by the nape of my neck.

Does anyone have this happen?

I have fine hair to begin with and not a l lot of it.

same thing with mine - unfortunately there is nothing you can really do.

I try to wear my hair in a loose/low ponytail or a braid to minimize breakage - and don't put it back while it's wet, that makes it worse.

My hair is VERY thin - and long...

I didn't know this, and do it all the time! Chat Icon

To answer the question ... I started getting lots of breakage years ago and what I did was stopped using my flat iron quite as much AND I started using shampoos that are sulfate free. Yes, I still have breakage, but less (think I'm going to stop tying it back while wet! )......... In the meantime, I know of some great sulfate free shampoos if you need any recs!!! Chat Icon

I just bought the Loreal one. I like it so far but I run my fingers through my hair and there is hair in my hands! UGH! A lot of it.

I have no bald spots or anything and I know it's breakage because it's not at the root.

I do tie it up wet but maybe I will just loosely clip it up so it's off my neck.
