do furniture stores negotiate on price
pleces like raymour and flanigan and thomasville or is the price the price? For instance if I see sometihng online should I go to the store and see if I can do better?

Its worth a try. If you are buying Multiple pieces I think most stores will. If you are going in for just a side table probably not so much. Definitely use your research to negotiate. If they are firm on price see if you can get table pads thrown in on a dining room set, scotchguard on upholstery etc. The one thing that I never had any luck with is shipping there seems to be no room on that.

Raymour will, we had shopped around and at one point they had a 20% off friends and family, I mentioned it a few months later, that we might just wait for a promotion like that again and they gave us the 20% off.

we opened a card with raymour and flanigan - we agreed to pay it off within the year and they took some money off for that...

I'm sure they will try to offer you something. When we were looking for bedroom furniture though, we spent the whole day going up and down Rt. 110 and found a much better deal some place else. I think it was "The Place".

we liked bedroom furniture at raymour and found on rte110 i think the store was called all wood furniture for about $1000 less
