Would you sign your child up for the sibling class...
if it was the day OF your scheduled c/s?
So...like a dummy, I waited too long to sign my almost 4 year old up for the sibling class at Winthrop. Turns out the next class is the day of my scheduled c/s or about 3 weeks after that. I could have my 2 sisters take him to the class the day of (considering everyone will be in the hospital anyway)
Is it too late at that point? Should I even bother?
I'm just bummed...*I* wanted to go with him. I feel like I sound like a big baby....waaaaaaa lol
TIA

awww I'm sorry that you wont be able to go with him- but I would say maybe book him for the class anyhow- it will give him something fun to do the day that you are not around- may make it easier for him

Since everyone will be there anyway, why not. He'll go from the sibling class, straight to meeting his new sibling. Bet none of the other kids will get to do that. Plus, everything he learns about will be nice and fresh in his mind!!
