another exersaucer question - and jumperoo one too! (sorry so long)
What is the height limit on your exersaucer, DS is nearing 28" we tried out one and he seemed to tall for it. Please suggest, because I'm ready to throw the jumperoo out the window, or if I'm reasonable, into my parents garage for a few months. (see below)
Baby Einstein Jumperoo, anyone have this thing?
I'm so frustrated, we bought it, because 1. it comes apart flat for storage and 2. it seems to be great for a tall baby like ours
But the seat is so wide, DS seems so skinny in it, he just leans forward in it. I just don't get it. I stuff him with towels, like a lot of towels, its just weird I don't want to do this, I want it to fit him.
Will it work better when he is able to hold weight on his legs? I don't think that will happen till he's 6m right?
DS can sit up assisted, even unassisted for a few seconds otherwise. He actually pulls himself up to sitting if you lean him at 45 degrees. Maybe I'm misjudging that he's ready for these things, but I really think he's ready. And we are both getting so bored of the activity mat because he wants to sit up and look around at everything.

I'm not sure about height limits and such, but I'll share this... DS is 4.5 months and still cannot sit up completely on his own. He has good head control though. DS is also about 12 1/2 pounds (much smaller than your DS). But I put DS in his Precious Planet jumperoo and he doesn't flop around at all. Know why? Cuz I bought the Hugga Bebe and use that in the jumperoo. DS fits nice and snug inside and he loves bouncing around. He's 23 inches tall so he doesn't reach the floor. I put the boppy under him and he uses that to bounce off of.
This is the Hugga Bebe. I bought it from One Step Ahead.

 Happy to help! I ordered it from One Step Ahead and had it within a week. Maybe another site ships even faster (that was with the regular shipping).

I also have the Baby Einstein jumperoo and think it stinks but fyi my ped said the hanging jumperoos are dangerous b/c they sometimes land w/ too much force.
We have the triple fun jungle exersaucer and ds is craaazzzzy about it and the baby einstein exersaucer at the il's and ds likes it too but not as much.

The problem with excersaucers is that they all have height limit of 30", while the jumpers are way over that. I have a tall baby, and I feel silly spending $$ for something he'll use for a month.
He's only 4m so he wont be standing for - I think - at least another 6-9 months.

I never looked into it- I wanted a free standing jumperoo anyway b/c we don't have a door in the living room that it would hang right from.
My ped also warned us about walkers but he said there was nothing dangerous about actually using the walker- the danger is in kids getting to things they can get hurt on- like walking over to furniture that can fall over on them or the walker going down stairs.
idk it's all so confusing, lol. I can def see how height is a prob. DS is 5 mths and 25 1/2 inches and we r about to move the jungle exersaucer to the middle height- so at that rate...
