Sugaring Hair Removal
Please give your recommendations for spas in long island that do this type of hair removal. I tried searching on Google but all I get is places in the city.

Something around the Nassau/Suffolk border. I know there's "Nature Touch" in Setauket, but that's really far to get to....

sugaring hair removal, an ancient middle-eastern practice uses an all natural paste or gel made from food-derived ingredients like sugar, water, and lemon juice to remove the hair follicle from the root. The results can last up to six weeks. While there are many recipes, only natural ingredients are used in real sugaring. It's also been called sugar waxing, although not a correct term, because it's done very similar to waxing.

How much does it typically cost?
Is this something you would have done on your face? ie - upper lip?
eta - i just went on their website. (Daisy Spa) It only costs $10 for your upper lip and can last up to 6 weeks?  seriously?
Are there side effects? Like my upper lip would be huge and swlollen for a week

I had this done a few years ago (when I lived on LI) at the Rain Day Spa in Woodbury.
I had a good experience, but it was awhile ago.

she actually threads my upper lip and it lasts WAYYYY longer than the waxing IMO.
