yay...cute! and NO...not too bright...so many people are afraid of wearing COLOR....and it 99% of the time looks SO great on!

Do you know for certain you're not going to match her BMs colors? That's the one major thing I worry about when I consider a bold color like that.
Personally, I think it's way too bright / flashy and I wouldn't do it, but you know the crowd that will be there much better than I do. At least it's not floor-length. Floor-length in that color would be way too much. I always stay away from reds and bright pinks because I remember telling my dad that I was going to kill his cousin if she showed up wearing a bright red dress we saw her in at another family affair to my wedding. But then again, I asked everyone to wear sun dresses and pastels, which worked out great for us.
It's a great dress, though -- definitely don't let me dissuade you! Just trying to give an honest opinion.
