So the other day I walked into the Gap
with money to spend. Then I walked RIGHT back out.
Basically, the entire store consisted of dark rinse skinny jeans and tee shirts. Oh, wait, there was a cute cardigan.
For the first time, the gap bored me with their selection. 
Did I hear right that they got bought over?

The first time? GAP bored me for years now.
The quality has went down & the selection is the same every single year.
Never changes.

Yeah, I've felt that way about the Gap since about 1997.
But it stinks when one of your favorite stores gets lame. It happened to me with the Gap, then JCrew, now Ann Taylor...

I see what you're saying..I usually go to the outlet and get some staples or some gems that I might not have seen in the store...there's just nowhere to shop anymore!

I don't think they were bought out.
The quality isn't the same as it was.
I did get jeans for $4.99 so that made me happy.
I heard that eventually they will merge Old Navy and Gap into one store but it's prob. a rumour.
They make items specifically for the outlets so that may be why you don't see them in the regular Gap stores.

I find it way overpriced (maybe I am just cheap) and boring. I do look in the outlet store if I am in the outlets.
