Are there any Dior Airflash users out there????

I've been wanting to try this for so long and just bought it yesterday.

Can you give me any tips on applying it? Do you buff it in with a brush or anything or do you just spray and wait for it to dry?

TIA

Re: Are there any Dior Airflash users out there????

I used to use it -- I stopped because of the cost and I seemed to go through a can in a month, which felt too fast. It also wasn't portable easily -- like I couldn't just throw it in my makeup bag or use it while sitting at my desk when I needed an afternoon touch-up.

I really did like the makeup though. I initially just sprayed it on my face and blended with a sponge, but I found that the foundation would spray in my hair and discolor it slightly for the day. So I started to spray it directly on a sponge and then blend. I seemed to get the same results.

I bought it more for special occasions. I really wanted to get the Temptu but it's not in the budget right now. I have my HS reunion this weekend and I'm tired of my other foundation, so I thought I would give this a shot.

Does it last for a while? If I put it on around 4 pm am I good for the night?

You should be, unless you have greasy skin. If I needed it to last for a long time (or to look really great for a party where I might be dancing, sweating, etc.) I would usually use some powder on top of it too. I would run a test sometime this week -- put it on in the morning, and if it lasts for 8 hours, you will be fine (especially because the heat and humidity will be horrible). I never test out a new makeup on the day of an event, I do it at least a few days in advance -- what if you hate it? What if you have some weird reaction?

I bought powder too (I always set foundation with a little powder). I'll give it all a whirl tomorrow.Chat Icon
