At what point should I be concerned? (Maybe TMI)
I am currently 7w5d and i have been having spotting for 2 days now. I have read, and seen from all of you that some spotting is 'normal'. It was very light for the first two days, but last night it was heavier. Not so heavy that it went through a panty liner, but there was a full streak all the way down as opposed to just a few little spots like I have been having. Should I be concerned yet or am I just over-reacting since this is my first pregnancy. Obviously if it keeps going or gets heavy I will be at my OB first thing tomorrow morning...but I don't know if I should be worrying now....I'm just trying to stay stress free...unfortunatly when I try not to stress out, I then do so in my sleep...I had a dream I mis-carried last night ...I haven't even told DH about the spotting yet, because he would be losing his mind and he is at work right now, so I'm not going to call him unless it is an emergency...but I will tell him about everything tonight! TIA for all your help!!!

Are you cramping at all? Spotting is very normal at the beginning, but if it is accompanied by cramping, i would call your doctor.

I bled on and off for 3 weeks starting around that time. I emailed my dr. Each time and everything turned out to be ok. As long as you have no cramping I would not be extremely worried. I would call your OB though just to give yourself some piece of mind.

Definitely give the Dr. a call because you won't feel okay until you do. You'll just be worrying. I spotted at 9 weeks with this pregnancy. Now I'm almost 37 weeks.
Let us know

When I miscarried I had terrible cramps. It did start as spotting but turned to very heavy the next day.

Re: At what point should I be concerned? (Maybe TMI)
Feeling much better now...it has gone away (for now at least). Plus it was brown, not red, and from what a chat search and an extensive google search have shown, that is also a 'better' sign. Still going to call the Dr tomorrow to be sure.
Plus the peeing like crazy finally kicked in today which helps re-assure me. Although now DH and I have to have a talk about the importance of changing empty tp rolls (how could both bathrooms be w/o tp this morning when I woke up?!?!)

I am sure everything is ok if you are just spotting brown, with no cramping. I had a subchorionic hematoma and bled (brown and red, some spotting and some heavier) from 5wks-15wks.
If you are concerned, I suggest you do call your doc. I went in everytime my bleeding increased for sonos....it made me feel soooo much better everytime.

Re: At what point should I be concerned? (Maybe TMI)
I bled when I was pregnant with my son and I have bled A LOT this pregnancy. The reason for the bleeding for my son was unexplained, but they do know the cause of it for this pregnancy. I wouldn't worry too much but I would call your OB in the AM and see if you can go in for a sono. They will be able to see a heart beat and that will put your mind at ease!

Re: At what point should I be concerned? (Maybe TMI)
Thanks for all your support ladies!! You guys rock
I called my Dr today and they put me on Pelvic Rest...I'm not allowed to lift ANYTHING (which makes hiding things from work a bit difficult - but I told my coworkers I pulled a muscle in my back this weekend ) and I'm not allowed any . If I have any heavier bleeding, cramping or it goes pink/red, I have to call them on the emergency line. I have an appt next Monday, so they said I should be fine until then. I'm not too nervous about it...DH is still very nervous and worried...he researched it out and found all the same things I read about, but it didn't really help him...I think I'll have him call the Dr himself tomorrow so he can get peace of mind him, he is too cute!!
