Moms who send their DC to daycare

DD will be starting daycare next month (she's 16 months). I had a few questions and am hoping some experienced mommies can help!

1) What do you use to label all of DC's stuff? I know a sharpie will work on some items, but definitely not on all.

2) What do you bring DC's daily things in? For example, food for the day, etc.?

3) When initially bringing things to stay there (cups, bibs, etc.), did you store it in a labeled box/container?

Just trying to keep myself organized! Any tips would be GREATLY appreciated!!

I don't remember which company I used - I believe it was Mable's Labels.

Everything is labeled - down to a binky.

Daycare asks for two packages of wipes monthly. I bring a box of diapers for each child and they let me know when supply is low.

For Colin, I send in pumped bottles of BM, a box of cereal and pureed food, and puffs. Daycare provides cheerios. He also has a sippy there for water, extra clothes, bibs, sheets and a lovey.

Ryan gets sent in with a cup, sheets, water clothes and shoes for water days, sunscreen, spare clothes, an animal for nap, blanket and a smock. They provide meals and snacks. When he was your DC's age he was pickier with food so I sent a back-up of yogurt if he didn't like their lunch. He eats everything now.

We take pretty much everything that gets washed home at the end of the week (sheets, cups)

I use skinny mini's and tag mates from Mabel's Labels - LOVE THEM.

I use a back pack and have a little cooler bag inside of it for bottles.

As for the extra stuff - they have a bin with her name on it.

I have a ptouch labeler so I labeled all of the plastic items with it. I used a Sharpie for everything else.

I bring in his things in a tote bag. He has a cubby to hold extra sheets and clothes and he has a space for his feeding supplies and diapers in the classroom.
