There should be a book...
for women by women about what happens to you as you approach your 30's, 40's, 50's, and beyond...
I'm pizzed off at my mother for never telling me that the following would happen as I approach 30 y/o:
- Your body odor gets stronger and you have to start wearing stronger deodorant / clinical strength, and reapplying more often
- You start growing hair in places never thought possible, and of course more rapidly - I feel like I need to shave my legs, thighs, armpits, FINGERS & TOES (!?!?!?!?) every day
- Your menstrual cycle gets worse (I'm sure this is different for women who have had children)
Am I alone with this???? What else can you share????

Pores appear larger Metabolism sllowwwwwwwssss
I don't know what it is though, for some reason ever since I hit 30 I feel more confident and get a lot more attention from men. I always thought people who say these things were hitting the crack pipe, but I really do feel better in my own skin now!

Re: There should be a book...
Yeah, I used to be able to go 4/5 days without needing to shave my legs. Now it's only 2.
Pores are larger.
My hair is so much curlier than when I was younger and harder to manage.
Even tho I'm about the same weight, my waist is smaller now than when I was in my early 20s and my upper hips bigger
I take 4 advil for my cramps.
Thankfully the metabolism's holding up.
Despite some of the weirdness:

Your hair and skin change about every 7 years.
The products I used to use are a big fat NO these days.

Re: There should be a book...
I hit 30 and I can't lose weight without working my arse off. My skin STILL breaks out. I sweat a lot more and often, even in the Winter. My body hurts in the morning when I wake up. My PMS is worse than ever. I have to shave my legs almost every day now.

Actually my 30's have been much better for my 20's. I am in the best shape of my life mentally and physically although I do have to say that my skin is not nearly as good as it was in my 20's!

I agree, too. The closer I get to 40 the worse it is...
I have found my body looks better now (except cellulite, see below) just from changing how I eat, i ate more junk when i was younger and now i eat much healthier.
I have to shave a lot more.
My hair is gross, it used to be nicer and soft, now it’s more dry and fine.
I have cellulite on my thighs. It’s ugly.
Spider veins in my legs...
Why do men get better & women … not?? When you see a 20 year old boy you can say “Wow, he’ll be hot when he’s 30” but you never hear guys say that about a 20 year old girl…

Agree completely about how sensitive my stomach is now...
Used to eat and tolerate anything - now, if it's "junk" food, I pay the price with heartburn!
