Hershey - how much time?

We are planning to take dh's daughter to Hershey in August. We're going Thursday, Friday & Saturday and most likely staying at the Hershey Lodge.

We were thinking of doing Hershey Park on Thursday and Chocolate World on Friday. (saturday probably just relax at the hotel pool until we leave in the afternoon).

My question is...is that enough time at Hershey Park? Should I get the 2 day pass and spend part of friday at the park, and then spend the second half of the day at Chocolate World? TIA!

i haven't been there in a few years and i know they have added a few things, but you should be able to get through the park in 1 day and chocolate world isn't that big, so it won't take you long at all. I think 2-3 days there is plenty of time!

I was just there. I think you should do Chocolate World on Thursday. If you buy your Friday ticket Thursday evening you can go to a preview of the park Thursday night. So you can go on a few rides that night and do your full day & water rides Friday. Check out their web-site for details. Also do a websearch for coupons for admission or check AAA.

Chocolate world didn't take that long. We only reserved one day for the park last time and this august, we are going to reserve 2. One day for the park/zoo and one for chocolate world and water park. The water park was really good. They now have cabanas for rent which I hear are pricey but worth it.

i have been to Hershey tons of times. You def dont need a separate day for Choclolate world. I do the park and choc world in one day and spedn the rest of my time at the hotel pool. Have fun!
