How to bathe baby in shower stall?!?

Hi! I have a 10 month old who is climbing out of her infant tub and seems to be getting too big for it. The problem is we live in an apartment that only has a shower stall. Our sinks are also ridiculously small and not big enough to bathe her in. Any suggestions?! Or any tips on how to shower her safely?

Thanks! Chat Icon

Re: How to bathe baby in shower stall?!?

i suggest getting one of those showerheads with a hose and several pressure settings - there's a $30 waterpik one @ bed, bath & beyond that's more than enough.

Just sit her on the floor of the shower, give her a toy and hose her off Chat Icon

Just put one of the blow up tubs in the shower stall... fill it with the shower head before you put your DC in. We have this one and it's in our regular tub but i'm sure it would fit in a shower stall...

Just hold them, thats what we used to do with Eddie sometimes or sit on the floor with them.

Go in the shower with him and then hand him over to someone else so you can get out, or just sit him in the shower stall and wash him with a pitcher.

Thanks for the responses! Some of the solutions are so obvious yet I didn't think of them. I'll blame that on mommy brain! Chat Icon

I bought a big rubbermaid bin that serves as a bathtub. I just rinse it out & put it sideways in the shower stall when not in use

DH showers with DS a lot. DS loves it. DH brings his bumbo into the shower - sits him in it - cleans him - and then picks him up and cleans the parts you can't reach with him sittingChat Icon

We used something like this when DS1 outgrew his baby tub. He loved it!
