Name your favorite books for your DC at 12 - 18 months
DS has discovered his love for story time and I want to pick up some more books for us to read. Right now he LOVES "Good Night Moon", "I Love You Stinky Face", "Where is Baby's Belly Button?", and a few other interactive books.
Can you recommend your DC's favorite books around this age?

DD loves anything with flaps for her to open! She loves the Peekaboo books (they have a ton of different titles). She also loves Sandra Boynton books - Doggies & Opposites are her favorites!

My son loved both the english and spanish versions of Good night moon, Just me and My Dad, Croccodaddy and all of the Eric Carle books!

my dd looooved peekaboo kisses and noisy farm around 12 months.
there are a few peekaboo books--the one she really loved was the one where the last page was a mirror and says peekaboo, i see YOU. (she gave herself a kiss in the mirror everytime we got to that page)

DS loved Good Night Moon
How does a dinosaur say goodnight
and 100 first words...This book taught him every single word he knew at the time. They also have 100 first machines which he loves now.

I have a few of those Karen Katz lift the flap books since she loves to play with those...
Where is my SweetiePie also..
Hmmm.. I always read Harold & THe Purple CRayon at night.
I also have these Andi Green books (she is a local author by me) and has some great stories with beautiful illustrations.

DD is 11 months and loves anything with flaps or with pictures of children and animals. She isn't too much into illustrated books but give her a book with a little kids in it and she is thrilled.

P. K. Hallinan has some great books that we love. Especially the holiday ones (Today Is Valentine's Day, Today is Thanksgiving).

DOG and TAILS. These are Liams absolute favorites.
Also Goodnight Moon, Pat the Bunny, The very hungry catapillar, Any of the Touch n Feel books.
