Graduation Gift Question

DH and I were invited to our neighbor's kid's graduation party tomorrow. We aren't "friends" with them, but we say hello when we see them. They are an older couple, 1 kid in college and the other just graduating HS. I am pretty sure we are only invited to this party because we invited them to the Memorial Day/DH's Birthday BBQ that we threw (because we knew cars had to park in front of their house). They gave DH a birthday card with lottery tickets in it.

So my question is, what do we give as a graduation gift?

TIA!!

Re: Graduation Gift Question

$25 GC to Nordstroms or other store or just a $25 amex card should be fine

Boy or Girl? Girls are easier. You can get a GC to a local nail salon too or get her a pedi

HAHA! My thoughts exactly with the lottery tickets. As for the gift for, is it a boy or girl, and is it the one graduating from high school or college? If high school, I would do a $25 Bed, Bath & Beyond Gift Certicate if they are going away to college, if not, maybe just one to the mall then! If it's a girl, the local nail salon for a mani/pedi!!!

Re: Graduation Gift Question

Ok, I just re-read your post and it's the one graduating from high school, I would definitely do a $25 BBB gift certificate, it will come in handy getting stuff for college!

That is a great idea. Thank you.

And it's for a boy.
