Re: Are you an over-packer?!
Not at all. My sister laughs at how lightly I pack. I remember packing for a spring break trip and my bag was way too big and heavy for me to carry so I cut it down to a bag I could manage to carry and still didn't wear everything. I watched my friend drag her huge heavy suitcase and thought that was almost me. Ever since then I can keep it to a minimum.

YES! Never wear half the stuff either, but I'd rather have more than run out

Re: Are you an over-packer?!
Not at all. I have gotten so good at making sure just to bring what I'll need and not what I think I'll need or might need. It took years to perfect this art though I've had many many years of overpacking

Re: Are you an over-packer?!
Usually we both are.
We are leaving for Italy next week and I am really trying to only pack what we need since we will be traveling by train every three days, then a flight to Sicily etc.
Let's see how I do

Re: Are you an over-packer?!
I used to be.
On my last trip, I nearly wore everything I brought (a first for me_)- but it's taken a long time to get it down right.

We are, but its best to have everything you need... and want than being far away and wishing 'oh i shouldve brought this or that'.

Re: Are you an over-packer?!
Nope! I was trained at a young age to pack light. My dad worked for TWA and we flew for free. We never knew if we would make the flights or not so we always brought carry ons. I guess it helped that we would visit family in Ireland and were able to do laundry there.

Re: Are you an over-packer?!
Yes but with air travel the way it is now, I am learning. I still check luggage b/c I hate dragging it around in airports but I am traveling lighter than I used to.

Re: Are you an over-packer?!
no- I pack the bare minimum for clothes and do a wash if I need to while there.
I think I pack more toiletries than anything

we did this same thing last summer, minus the flight to sicily. it wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst having to drag a full suitcase on and off the train and around the town. honestly it was only a pain walking through venice with a suitcase! and i pack for a month!

Re: Are you an over-packer?!
Without any hesitation, YES! I can pack an overnight bag that can keep me clean. clothed, and in great shoes for at least a month! I like to think of it as my "just in case I get stranded on a desert island" theory BTW- DH does not in any, way, shape or form, agree with my packing methods but after 11 years has realized just to ask "are there any other bags" before we leave.
