Why is my hot water brown?
Ewww, I don't know why this is happening. Sometimes my hot water comes out brown. In my sink, the washing machine, the bathroom sometimes too. Today was one of those days. I see like a brownish residue left over after i dump it too.
What is this and how do I fix it?
Thanks!

It's probably iron, and it happens here sometimes when the water company is doing something to the system in the area. Whenever this happens here, I undoubtedly see them in our neighborhood doing work. The other possibility is you might have rust inside your pipes.

Call Hot Water plus and have them clean out the rust in your pipes and in your furnace.
